Bibliophile Tag!!!!!

Hello everyone!

I was tagged by Catherine at from the Rebelling Muse to take the Bibliophile Tag.

So here we go!

The rules are:
Link back to her and tell her you answered her questions.

And to share with other bloggers, which I will do at the end.

1. What is your favorite fantasy novel/series?
Honestly, Catherine, you have no clue how hard it is to pick just one. So I won't!! :P
My top picks are Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Heroes of Olympus, and the
Lunar Chronicles. My favorite novel is Heartless by Marissa Meyer. All really great reads!

2. What is your favorite historical novel?
The Virginian by Owen Wister. This book has just the right amount of wild west, romance, sarcasm, and wit to satisfy anyone.

3. What is your favorite contemporary novel?
Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer. It's a really cute story. There's a sequel but it's not as good as the first one.

4. What character/book best describes your personality?
The Blue Castle by L. M. Montgomery. It's so whimsical and pretty. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

5. What is your favorite book character of all time?
Ugh. This is hard. It changes from time to time after every new book I read. So right now, it would be Cath from Heartless.

6. What is your favorite author?
Jane Austen, hands down.

7. Do you judge a book by it's cover?
I hate that I do it but I have a better chance of reading it when I see it's cover. I usually read the blurb first and if I like it, then I read it.

8. Paper books, ebooks or both?

9. Have you read a book you didn't like?
Of course! I read the Hunger Games and trust me when I say, the books are more violent than the movie.

10. Who is your favorite book villain?
Javert from Les Miserables. He is horrid.

Those were my answers for your tag, Catherine!!

I tag:
Maria at Attic Treasure Chest
Naomi at Wonderland Creek
Natalie at Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens
Olivia at Meanwhile, in Rivendell

Have fun guys!

Growing Up: Awkward and Awesome

I Don't Want To Grow Up!

"I want to stay single and ride through the glen firing arrows into the sunset"  (Disney)

Or as Lia would say "Take me to Neverland!" (also Disney. Duh)
(She has a HUGE crush on the Peter Pan from OUAT, BTW)

Why do we have to grow up?

So here are some Awkward and Awesome parts of growing up

AWKWARD: People talk to you in the grocery store and you automatically look over your shoulder for Mum. Also most of the time it's dudes. I'm sorry, I know a lot of girls are dreaming of the day when random guys will ask them for their number or just strike up a conversation....but it is really annoying. When you and your brother go out to Chipotle, people think you are a couple. When you go out to eat and people think you are ordering a alcoholic drink and you just have to look at them and say, "I'll have tea."  (Ok. This only happened once) You take a quiz on "How Responsible Are You" and it's like "95%! We gu…

Awkward and Awesome: Assorted Stuff

When you see a cute skirt and then hold it up to show your Mom. Oh never mind. You can see right through it. When your reading a great book and you get to one of those parts where you just have to put the book down and give your brain time to register what just happened. Then you glance at your alarm clock and see it's 2 am and you notice that your eyeballs are being to burn. (But there is only five chapters left so you finish it.)When your walking through the parking lot with your Mom and see a giant pick up truck. You can't help, but stare a little. (What? I happen to like pickup trucks)  Then you notice the person inside (read: guy) staring back at you with an amused smile. Oops. That one day you don't shower, just throw in whatever and run to the store to buy ice cream...well, apparently your lazy days are "ALL CUTE BOYS GO GROCERY SHOPPING DAY"Awesome!
