6 Kasie West Books - Ranked [A Guest Book By MK @ Sarcastic Scribblings!]

TODAY WE HAVE A GUEST POST! (Why? Because I lasy. So lasy. Is that how you actually spell lazy? No. Do I know it will bother MK? YAS. Should I stop? Probably. Will I tho? Probably not. ANyway: MK!)

My eye is twitching. That looks like something I would send to my friends at three am while I'm walking or am half alseep.

A ha ha. I got her eye to twitch.

MK is from Sarcastic Scribblings and yes, I know she is super busy with college. (I am also in college tho slighly less busy. Seriously tho. MK has a crazy hard course and she is actually cray cray for doing it. If you have half an hour, ask her how school is and she'll be like "Great! I actually finsihed my homework early and got extra sleep!" And then you ask what time she went to bed and she's like, "Two am." Like whut? HOW. ) Did I bribe her into writing me a guest post ANYWAYS? Yep. DO I FEEL REGRET? Nope (Maybe a little)

That's good because someday I will force you to repay the favor and guest post on my blog so I can laze about.

Wut

With spelling and grammer checked of course. ;)

Wut

Anyway! She's Mary Kate or MK from Sarcastic Scribblings! And today she's doing a guest post where she ranks every Kasie West book she's ever read! Which is a total of six...(and counting!)
Enjoy and if you're not already following her blog, be sure to swing by and check out her other stuff. She loves comments, but IDK when she'll get back to y'all because college be cray cray. Take it
away MK!

6.

Ah yes. This is the book at the end. The least favorite of them all.
It wasn't baaaad. It just wasn't amazing either. Sure. It had it's good parts, but I didn't really see the chemistry between the two of them. The relationship between her and her dad and her brothers though? That was good.

girl friendships // FILL HIS ROOM WITH BASKETBALLS // Bling jersys // green eyes jelously // brothers //  Dad // awesome family

5.
I'm pretty petty about this one, because MY SHIP DIDN'T SAIL. UGH. I wont say which one, since that would kind of spoil everything. But if you read it, then you will know. Know my pain.

BTW: If you HAVE read it, comment which ship you liked best! Of course, to avoid spoilers just say whether you like the ship that sailed or think THE RIGHT SHIP, EXCUSE ME should be brought back.

The best friend was cool though // jetski thief // wrong ship // awesome family //

4.
I actually probably liked Listen To Your Heart more than this one, but like I said. I'm petty. Like On the Fence, I didn't really feel the chemistry between the characters.

pennies // the zoo// that one rude pizza guy // I honestly don't remeber that much //

3.
(All of these three finalist are about equal. In fact, this one used to be my No. 1 Fav...But I've learned to like The Fill In Boyfriend more as I got older.)
Unlike the first three books on the list, I was whole heartedly behind this ship.

TRAPPED IN A LIBRARY // Cronuts // Poker Games // Anxiety // The guy friend who thought they were cute didn't end up acting like a jerk when he found out she didn't like him // THEY CUTE HALP //

2.
I originally didn't like this. It was cute and I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters, but it took me awhile to get everything else going on in this book and the character journey etc.
There were both good girl friendships and bad ones portrayed in this book, which was interesting. Normally (I feel like) there is only one or the other.

The junkyard // roadtrip snacks // fake boyfriend // her brother // his mum // his sister // Not a good family on her part, but a well written one //

1.
If someone says Kasie West, this is the first book I think of.
I liked her best friend, but I wished she was in the story more.

Annoymous notes // THANKSGIVING // bunny wrangler // man bracelet // song writing // the farmer's market like thing // "oh no. They left. How Sad." // Golf Course // her family // Bugs rabbit + that one sock // awesome best friend // THEY CUTE HALP //

Kasie West Book I'm Planning on Reading Next:

All links lead to the books Goodreads page! Be sure to check them out and comment below which ones you've read, which ones you want to read, and WHICH SHIP DO YOU SHIP IF YOU DO SHIP A SHIP.  (Wow. That reminded me of Dr. Suess. Though I should probably NEVER write a children's book.)

MK,
Over and out!

  1. Oooh! I really enjoy Kasie West! I haven't actually "read" any of her books but *coughs* audiobooks. A really good one that you should read is The Distance Between Us. BUT YESS The Fill-In Boyfriend and PS I like You are great!!

    1. Ooh. I've heard of that one but haven't gotten a chance to read it yet...

An audio books total count *nods*

Except sometimes they don't come across well? IDK. When I read Cinder, Cinder wasn't as sarcastic/dry wit filled as I read her and she just came across as a brat sometimes...

    2. Ditto on the audio books thing!
AND AUDIO BOOK CINDER IS SOOOOOO ANNOYING. LIKE MAKE HER STOP.

  4. thanks for guest posting MK!
(Even tho apparently people think we're the same person. Low key my fav blogging conspiracy theory. But I'll raise you one better...what if Julian from Saver of Memories and Catherine from The Rebelling Muse are the same person?????????)

    1. Seriously though, any time! It was fun.

I love the Kat and Mk? ARE THEY THE SAME? thing but Catherine + Julian? I don't think so...They have similar voice sometimes in their posts, but in their writing? Their daily lives? I don't think so.

    2. Well who said conspiracy theories had to be logic based? Believe whatever you want. XD

    3. yo, I leave the blogosphere for a month and Lia is MK, Julian is Catherine, and who knows who I am since I am apparently in an identity crisis (aka my latest post.)

      I SO CONFUSED

^^improper grammer used on purpose for the sole purpose of making MK's eye twitch again.

    4. Wanna hear a conspiracy theory?

MK is actually Kat and vice versa.

See, when MK changed the name of her blog, it linked to a different blog where she referred to herself as Kat from Sarcastic Scribblings.

Then, she said she knows Kat and Lia in Real Life. (ahem, of course she would know herself.)

When there is guest posts, it's always Lia and MK.

When Cath does guest posts, it's always Lia and MK.

WHEN Kat writes on here, her writing voice is very similar to MK.

That is my theory. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. xD

    5. OH MY GOSH YES
      (I said it first though)

WE SHOULD DO A POST TOGETHER ON IT!!!! SEND ME ON EMAIL!
DO YOU HAVE THE LINK TO THAT BLOG? We need it. For evidence.
(See MK? EVIDENCE. IT'S PROVEN NOW)

Do you know conspiracy theories? idk but we should call it the MKat theory.

IM GONNA CALL Mary Kate! Just wait. I bet she SCREEEEAAAAMS AT ME. LOLOLOLOL

    6. Also was that WHEN before me and my blog posting habits calling me out for not posting enough? I AM HURT.

    7. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. WHAT IF IVIE AND JEM JONES ARE THE SAME PEOPLE.
      BECAUSE JEM DOESN'T POST OFTEN
AND IT WOULD MAKE SENSE THAT IVIE WOULD PICK SOMEONE WITH A SPECIAL ACCENT, LIKE AN AUSSIE, BECAUSE IT WOULD MASK HER OWN TEXAN ACCENT. A SIMPLE CHANGE OF Y'ALL TO MATE AND A QUICK QOOGLE OF AUSTRALIAN SNACKS....

THIS IS MY NEW SECOND FAVORITE AFTER MKAT. LETS CALL IT... IVIE JONES
      JEM BROOKS?

      NO WAIT

      JIVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    8. What if Lia is actually both Kat and Lia but Lia has split personalities which is why she goes by Lia, Lilah, and maybe even... Kat. DUN. DUN. DUN

    9. XD XD Haha, that's definitely something.

But nothing can mask this much Texan. XD XD

    10. I can find the link if I dig into my history, but it might take awhile. I shall return...

    11. What the? Y'all crazy.

I swear, I'm this close to posting a picture of myself just to prove I'm not Kat.

      Lia. Make it stop.

      Delete
    12. how could that prove anything? We've never seen Kat, either...

      Delete
    13. Because Kat would probably post a picture of herself as well.
But I'm not that desperate. When I DO (eventually) go public, I'll also be telling y'all my real name etc (since it'll probably not be until I'm publishing something.)

      Delete
    14. But how would you know this if you aren't Kat!!! DUN. DUN. DUN.

Nah, I'm just messing around. or am I O_O

      Delete
    15. Haha lol
I should post MK's pic as my pic and then where would she be? she could never prove anything otherwise

  5. Well, I already knew she was unhappy with one of the Kasie West books. But some of these sound okay. I'm just not a fan of the genre, but every once in a while, I get this urge to read these types of books. Jenny B. Jones is my go-to for this genre, whatever you want to call it. But I'll have to check out Kasie West.

    Lovely post, y'all.

  6. Well, this escalated quickly. Kat... could you sign your name so people don't think your craziness is me.. Pretty please?

      Lia (really truly!)

    3. HAHA, I know. I'm just messing around. You and Kat have very distinct writing voices that are very different from the other. But these theories are getting wild. xD

  7. Not gonna lie, this is becoming my favorite comment section, very near the whole MK-Ivie debate taking over the world. (idk why i referenced myself in the third person, we're just going with it.)
