Welcome February!

Its been one month since Lia decided we should bring Catholic Girl Stuff back to life. We've refreshed a lot of the blog, the new look for example. (It was mostly Lia, but I helped pick out the pictures)

I personally know where I fall in the last one (firmly in the "Probably a no thanks") so instead  I'm praying for help with my horrible stressful college life.

I recently started praying a novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots and asking her for help untangling the mess that is my life. I have to say that the morning after I started, I woke up happy and had a great day of classes. Which was surprising since it was a Thursday and normally I HATE my Tuesday/Thursday classes. Oh and then a caught up on all my homework.

10/10 would recommend.

Christmas Novena

This novena, also know as the Saint Andrew Novena or The Saint Andrew Christmas Novena is supposed to be said 15 times a day from November 30 until Christmas.

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. Praying for Your Future Husband

These prayers are both for praying for guidance in finding your future husband, praying that God gives him strength now in any trials he may be going through, and for patience until he arrives.

The first prayer is a Novena to Saint Joseph, the spouse of Mary. This novena (say it 9 days in a row) isn't especially for future spouses, but you can customize the request



"Oh Saint Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.

Oh Saint Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, so having engaged here below your heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.

Oh Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart. Press him in my name and kiss his fine head and ask him to return the favor when I draw my dying breath.
